Classical Ballet

The Carret Dance Conservatory Classical Division strives to produce a versatile, musical, and technical ballet dancer able to meet today’s performance standards and professional demands.

Our unique Classical Program blends the artistic excellence and the rigorous athleticism of the Vaganova and Cuban schools of ballet. Dancers take daily classes in ballet technique, pointe, conditioning, repertoire, pas de deux, modern, contemporary dance and composition.

All Classical Division students also participate in special workshops in dancer health, Spanish and character dance, ballet history, taught by industry professionals.

​

We believe performance opportunities are vital to a dancers' artistic growth.  At TCDC students perform in a minimum of two dance showcases each year at downtown professional theatres.
